xAI 於 5 月 16 日回覆關於 Ask Grok 發生問題的情況，xAI 表示xAI 的某位內部員工在未經授權的情況下擅自修改了 Ask Grok 在 X 平台上的提示詞。導致 Ask Grok 對某項政治話題提供特定的回覆，此情形違反 xAI 的內部政策與核心價值。
