最近各大筆電廠商都推出了搭載了Windows 8的新產品，除了一定有的觸控功能以外，幾乎所有廠商也都在產品中有志一同的加入了「變形」與「組合」的概念，而帶動這股風潮的始作俑者應該就是華碩了，從變形平板、PadFone開始就一再地為本來冷冰冰的電子產品加入不同元素，在今年COMPUTEX展時更發表了全球第一台雙螢幕Windows8筆電「太極」更是驚艷全場，也讓其他廠商也推出了「致敬」產品。
一、ASUS TAICHI（太極）雙螢幕筆電
太極是全球首款Windows 8雙螢幕筆記型電腦，打開上蓋是一台效能不錯的Ultrabook，闔上後則自動切換成平板，開啟雙螢幕可同步運作或做為延伸螢幕，個人覺得蠻適合常進行簡報的商務人士或是保險從業員使用。
ASUS TAICHI 搭載第 3 代 Intel Core i7 處理器，11.6吋Full HD螢幕、採用IPS 178度廣視角面板，平板模式支援10點觸控。雙攝像鏡頭組合，前置HD鏡頭(720P)，後置500萬畫素鏡頭，可拍攝1080P照片並錄製720p高解析度影片。價格依照處理器等級不同由41900~51900元，尺寸比想像中迷你很多。
二、ASUS Transformer Book 變形筆電
華碩ASUS Transformer Book變形筆電，搭載13.3吋Full HD IPS 178度廣視角多點觸控面板，並配備最高可至128G SSD固態硬碟（在平板）與500G HDD（鍵盤底座），與變形平板一樣透過拆卸式設計，可在筆電和平板之間靈活變身。
華碩ASUS Transformer Book的上蓋是搭載Core i7處理器的Windows 8平板電腦，部份機種配合雙攝像鏡頭設計，以及華碩獨家SonicMaster聲籟技術。
三、ASUS VivoBook觸控筆電
華碩首款觸控螢幕筆電ASUS VivoBook Series，採用金屬機身設計與觸控式面板，可讓使用者搭配Windows 8使用，共有11.6”、14”與15.6”等機型。搭載第 3 代 Intel Core i處理器以及華碩獨家Super Hybrid Engine II技術，讓ASUS VivoBook 只要2秒即可由待機狀態回復工作畫面。
VivoBook Smart則是使用ARM架構處理器（TEGRA3）的Windows 8 RT平板，可搭配類似SmartCover的磁吸皮套與藍牙鍵盤使用，最長可使用16小時。
四、ASUS ZENBOOK Touch
ASUS ZENBOOK Touch承襲華碩ZENBOOK一貫設計，外觀採用輕薄機身與金屬同心圓髮絲紋設計。搭載強效第 3 代 Intel Core i7處理器、華碩獨家SonicMaster聲籟技術以及178度廣視角Full HD IPS廣視角面板與觸控介面。
五、All-in-One電腦ET2300
華碩搭載Windows 8觸控應用的All-in-One電腦ET2300，使用第 3 代 Intel Core i7 桌上型處理器與獨立顯卡，搭載Full HD 23″ IPS 178度廣視角面板，螢幕可視使用需求調整為垂直、水平等多種角度模式。ET2300更是全球首款內建陣列揚聲器與低音喇叭的AiO PC，搭配SonicMaster Premium聲籟技術，低音渾厚有力，音感飽滿細緻，在現場的表現不錯。
